I work on the collaborative research project between Prof. Shulei Wang’s and Prof. Zan Luthey-Schulten’s groups to interpret the data generated from the whole-cell model proposed by the Luthey-Schulten group. My research mainly focuses on the construction of the cell growth principal tree and identifying biological changes associated with the final cell stages. We hope this project provides more insight into the cell growth process, which could be used in disease diagnosis, treatment, and prediction.
