My research aims to elucidate the mechanistic underpinnings and functional significance of RNAP spatial organization in E. coli via phage infection by using imaging techniques such as smFISH, sptPALM, and STORM. This will help to create a high-resolution, spatially informed, picture of gene regulation in both bacterial and viral contexts.
