Supriya Prasanth

Supriya Prasanth is a professor and head of the department of cell and developmental biology. Her research focuses on understanding the role of replication initiators in genome duplication and stability. Her work is funded by NIH, NSF, and CCIL. She has many awards to her credit: Leukemia and Lymphoma society special fellow; NSF Career award; University scholar; Lynn Martin award for distinguished women teachers.   She actively mentors students from a wide range of backgrounds, engaging learners from high school through graduate school in her research group.
The Prasanth laboratory will use MINFLUX microscopy to investigate the spatial and temporal organization of the eukaryotic replication machinery.
