My project focuses on how cell size and shape is regulated at molecular level in Caulobacter cresentus. We are interested in understanding the localization and interaction of cell curvature regulators using the MINFLUX system.
I work on reconstructing the CME/ODE model of Minimal Cell, Syn3A. Through the whole cell model, we are aiming to predict every cellular dynamics and understand the cell in a most quantitative way.
My Center research revolves around the fundamentals of superresolution microscopy, and it incorporates information theory and experiment mainly via MINFLUX. This relates to Center themes of the synergy between theory and experiment.
